Perinaldo is a municipality in the province of Imperia in Liguria, located about 13 kilometers from the coast.
It is part of the association The most beautiful villages in Italy.
It has a surface area of 20.3 km² and a population of 830 inhabitants.
Its name derives from the Latin Podium Rainaldi, which means the "hill of Rinaldo", a nobleman from the family of the counts of Ventimiglia who founded the castle in the 10th century.
