2-room flat via Umberto I, Trevignano Romano

In the heart of the historic center of Trevignano Romano, nice apartment with convenient access, composed of a living room with fireplace and kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. In the bedroom there is a window from which you can admire the beautiful main street of the historic center. The property is located in a quiet and reserved street of the village, convenient to reach and very close to the arch of the historic bell tower. The property at the price of € 135,000.00 is sold fully furnished. It is believed that Trevignano Romano was the site of the Etruscan city of Sabate, of which, however, no trace has been found, except an extensive necropolis to the east and west of the country. Some outfits of the chamber tombs of the VII-VI century BC are visible in the Civic Museum located on the ground floor of the Town Hall building. Among the exhibits, vascular finds of bucchero and bronze, studs, fibulae and ornaments of gold and amber. From the rich Annesi-Piacentini and Flabelli tombs discovered intact in 1965, a large bronze flabello, finely decorated and two elegantly painted amphorae of orientalizing tradition. Other Etruscan finds of great value are the intact burial of a warrior from the 8th century BC, still equipped with his trousseau and the remains of two chariots. Church of the Madonna Assunta in Cielo The church building is located above the historic center, and you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. The church was built around 1500 and dedicated to the Madonna Assunta in Cielo, on the foundations of an ancient sacred building in the Gothic style, was then completely renovated in the years from 1780 to 1794 by the architect Pelucci. The bell tower was obtained from one of the towers of the fortress and contained 4 bells, today only two remain; one completely restored because of a rift. Inside you can see works of some interest, but surely the most important is the fresco of the apse which has as its subject the dormition, or death, of the Madonna and her assumption and coronation in heaven. The work was completed in 1517 by a painter from the Raphael school. Certain details indicate that the master, if he has not collaborated directly in the execution of the work, has at least traced the sketch. Thanks to the favorable weather conditions all year round, many water sports are practiced on Lake Bracciano on the Trevignano Romano side, such as sailing, canoeing, scuba diving and windsurfing. Consequently, many sailing clubs are present. The slope of Trevignano Romano, especially in the late spring and summer period, benefits from good ventilation coming from the west-north west, or from the south west, often directly from the sea which, as the crow flies, is a few kilometers away. Other land sports such as trekking, mountain biking and paragliding are appreciated thanks to the favorable conformation of the territory.
