Il castello di Castelleone dispone di 7 suite (14 posti letto + 7 letti aggiuntivi per bimbi fino a 14 anni), 7 camere doppie (14 posti letto + 7 letti aggiuntivi per bimbi fino a 14 anni), una camera singola (1 posto letto)ed un appartamento per 4 persone (4 posti letto). 19 bagni, per un totale di 33 posti letto per adulti e 14 posti letto per bimbi fino a 14 anni. TERRENO DEL CASTELLO

ARCHITETTURA DEL CASTELLO DI DERUTA
Il castello di Castelleone composto principalmente da tre nuclei architettonici originali, in rappresentanza di tre epoche storiche.

Medioevo:
rintracciabile nelle mura di cinta in pietra di grande spessore anche oltre 2,5 metri, che confluiscono nella grande e possente Torre Longobarda, alta circa 36 metri di forma quadrata è divisa su 5 livelli.

Rinascimento (risalente al XV-XVI sec.)
interessa il corpo principale del Castello formato dal suo Mastio o Torrione principale di forma rotondeggiante (denominato anche Torre degli Sposi) é unito al nucleo principale del Castello propriamente detto.

Epoca neogotica - (risalente al XIX sec.) interessa quella parte del fabbricato, unita al nucleo rinascimentale, che si affaccia sul Bordo Interno e sul Vicolo dell'Ulivo che racchiude alla sua sommità la Torre Belvedere. Questa porzione del Castello è l'unica a presentare muri perimetrali intonacati di rosa antico.

It is mainly made up of stone walls, old facing bricks and partly plastered and extends over an internal surface of over 2000 square meters (plus about 500 square meters of attics) developing into almost 100 rooms. The castle of Castelleone has 7 suites (14 beds + 7 additional beds for children up to 14 years), 7 double rooms (14 beds + 7 additional beds for children up to 14 years), a single room (1 bed ) and an apartment for 4 people (4 beds). 19 bathrooms, for a total of 33 beds for adults and 14 beds for children up to 14 years.

All suites and rooms have an independent hyper-technological bathroom with hydromassage tub or shower, Turkish bath, aromatherapy, chromotherapy. There are also three large and medium sized fully equipped kitchens.

LAND OF THE CASTLE
The land that surrounds it is about 8500 square meters mainly planted with tall trees, almost all secular (oaks and holm oaks), as a park and garden with terracing sloping down to the swimming pool.

POOL
Called the pool of the Four Seasons, it is located at the foot of the castle walls and is of the open "skimmer" type, rectangular in shape with one of the short sides in the shape of a crescent with a Roman staircase. The swimming pool has a length of 12.5 m and a width of 6 m, and is equipped with an 8 m2 thermal hydromassage tub of the Jacuzzi type with aromatherapy and chromotherapy.

WELL AND CLOISTER
Adjacent to the pool there is a well made of stone and ancient bricks. The inner cloister-ancient courtyard of the castle, surrounded by an elegant L-shaped portico, is enclosed in the part of the building that faces north-west with another cistern in ancient brick in the center still functioning.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE CASTLE OF DERUTA
The castle of Castelleone composed mainly of three original architectural nuclei, representing three historical periods.

Middle Ages:
traceable in the stone walls of great thickness even over 2.5 meters, which flow into the large and mighty Longobard Tower, about 36 meters high, square in shape and divided on 5 levels.

Renaissance (dating back to the 15th-16th century)
it concerns the main body of the Castle formed by its Mastio or main tower of round shape (also called Torre degli Sposi) and joined to the main nucleus of the Castle itself.

Neo-Gothic period - (dating back to the nineteenth century) concerns that part of the building, joined to the Renaissance core, which overlooks the Inner Edge and the Vicolo dell'Ulivo which encloses the Belvedere Tower at its top. This portion of the Castle is the only one with antique pink plastered perimeter walls.
