Lido delle Nazioni History and curiosities
It is said that Giuseppe Garibaldi landed right here on August 3, 1849. Lido delle Nazioni is characterized by wide streets, lots of greenery and many shops for the pleasure of shopping after a day at the seaside. The beaches are easily reachable from the seafront and are suitable for children's entertainment thanks to slides, swings and swimming pools.

Its large artificial lake, called Lake of Nations, is the sporting soul of the coast. In its brackish basin, covering a surface area of around one hundred hectares, eels and mullet live. Every year it is the scene of all water sports, competitive sailing, canoeing and numerous other initiatives related to running, cycling and horse riding.

In addition to the lake, the central Piazza Italia is also a point of reference at the Lido delle Nazioni. The square, which has an amphitheater-shaped look, is well suited for outdoor shows.
