No less prestigious are Villa Govone, on whose façade a plaque recalls Massimo D'Azeglio's stays in Loveno, and in lower Loveno Villa Bolza and Villa Belfaggio. Another point of interest in the hamlet of Loveno is the parish church of SS. Lorenzo and Agnese, immersed in the greenery of the parks and of ancient foundation. It was rebuilt between 1725 and 1738, and is a notable example of Baroque art. The interior, with a single nave with four side chapels and altars in precious marble, bears witness to the wealth of the community which provided for the embellishment of the church. Of great beauty is the frontal in scagliola which adorns the altar of the second chapel on the left; on the altar there is a wooden statue of the Madonna and Child by Lorenzo Matieli from 1737. In the first chapel on the right you can admire the beautiful altarpiece depicting the "Madonna dei Sette Dolori fra i SS Lorenzo, Agnese e donori."
