Farmhouse, to be refurbished, 180 m², Sorano

Montebuono, a village in the municipality of Sorano, was formerly called Tucciano. In this place the abbey of San Pietro di Monteverdi Marittimo had possessions since the year one thousand, in favor of which the emperor Arrigo III sent a privilege on 7 May 1040, in which he confirmed the localities of Montebono and Patrignone in the countryside of Sovana. ("Etruscan capital"). The hamlet of Montebuono is located at the extreme western edge of the municipal area of Sorano, in an area of the hills in the hinterland of the Grosseto Maremma known as the Tufo area. The village develops on a hill not far from the course of the Fiora. The compendium consists of the following properties:
1- Real estate unit for residential use spread over two levels. The
ground floor is made up of a kitchen, living room with fireplace, a bedroom and a storeroom as well as the staircase that
leads to the upper level of the house. On the ground floor there are
also a toilet and a former oven, both with access from the outside
of the building. The first floor comprises two bedrooms and a
hallway. The building also has a terrace, placed to cover
the single-level portion of the building and a cavity placed
upstream of the aforementioned building. The building is equipped with an exclusive courtyard.
2- agricultural land located near the house cultivated partly with arable land and partly with olive groves. The house is built in stone with an exposed finish, while the one with a flat roof has a civil plaster finish. The floors are in
wood and brick and the roofs of both the two-storey portion
and that of the building used for services are equipped with a brick mantle
while the other, which lives on the terrace, is protected with a waterproofing sheath.
The internal and external fixtures are made of wood, the floors are of various materials
(terracotta, wood and grit), the internal walls are plastered and painted.
The building has been uninhabited for many years and therefore needs some maintenance.
L The house is equipped with a heating system and an electrical system,
while it has no drinking water due to the absence of the
adduction line. It is located in the middle of the woods, isolated from the world, with a truly beautiful panorama and in any case with a particular charm: you go back in time.
