Farmhouse via Mazzalasino 35, Iano, Scandiano

Valuable complex made up of two tower houses perhaps dating back to the 16th century, connected by a central body. The two towers have a square plan, with a scarp base, developed on three levels and a dovecote. The facing is in stone with the exception of the upper part and the brick corner reinforcements. In the internal part, to the east, there is a covered staircase with a three-light loggia up to the main floor where a large balustrade opens above a portico arch. At the crossroads of the road to Iano there is a majesty dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. There is also a valuable building used as a barn stall in a rural complex. The floor plan is impressive, characterized by a lowered arch corner porch and brick tunnel lights.
