Country house, to be refurbished, 117 m², Mura

In the pretty hamlet of Veriano di Mura, a portion of a house on the ground floor consisting of 3 levels, entirely to be restored.

Mura lies on the sunny slopes of the mountains, near the natural furrow of the Nozza and Tovere streams; Mount Corna di Savallo (1390 m.) dominates everything.

The history of Mura is linked to the names of some powerful families, rich in possessions in the Middle Ages - the local glory is the fighter Oberto di Savallo - and the local economy was linked to coal, farms and commercial relations with the Republic of Venice.

The importance of Mura was also highlighted by the presence of the Pieve di Santa Maria della Corna, of very ancient origins. Nothing remains of the original building but at the end of the seventeenth century the new parish church dedicated to the Virgin of the Assumption was erected, located in a panoramic position, under the spurs of white dolomite of the Corna di Savallo.
The church with a single nave, with eight side chapels , has valuable decorations; among the artists who worked there, the names of Palma il Giovane and Jacopo da Bassano stand out. The decoration of the vault offers three medallions depicting the Coronation of the Virgin by the Holy Trinity, the Adoration of the shepherds and the arrival of the Magi.
The interior is above all a container of wooden works, fruit of the Boscaì's artistic genius by Levrange and by Marchion Bonomino by Bione.
