Verbania is an Italian municipality scattered on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, capital of the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and appears to be the most populous center of the entire basin of Lake Maggiore, it became the provincial capital in 1992 and assumed the title of city starting from 2007.
