MONTESE Castelluccio I'm in the car and I'm going to Paola to see her house. I passed by Querciola.... The radio is playing Clint Eastwood, a famous song from a few years ago by Gorillaz. It's an old song but the title brings to mind Clint's westerns.... the hills I'm crossing remind me a bit of the western environment.... it's early spring, the trees are still bare and in the shaded areas there is still snow. I arrive at the house. Beautiful, it's a shame that there are still no leaves on the trees, let alone flowers. Only a few early scrub daisies color the very green grass of the home lawn with spring.
Paola's is the typical country house of the Apennines of a few years ago.
It is the typical house to live in. Do you understand what type I'm talking about? Yes, exactly, those large country houses, those where nothing can be missing: from the garage to the oven, from the cellar and woodshed to the porch, from the 4 bedrooms to the huge living room, from the pantry to the enormous, super-habitable kitchen .
Well, that's how the house is made!
It's a typical 70s house except that Paola has completely updated it and tastefully furnished it.
Two floors, living area with level access from the courtyard below and sleeping area above. Still upstairs there is the attic now used as a storage room but large enough to.... do whatever you want with it!
This house certainly cannot miss the double garage, the garden and many flowers that Paola cultivates with care.
But I'm going now, Paola is waiting for me and has made me tea with biscuits.
Bye!
Small update: today there is no furniture left in the house..... it's almost empty.--24f8295cc465ba57e30f8f7d17d1c05a!
