Going up from the Val di Susa towards Almese and Rubiana you reach Colle del Lys, a pass located between the Val di Susa and the Val di Viù which recently reopened the ski facilities. Going down towards the Val di Lanzo, after having passed the villages of Niquidetto and Bertesseno and after having passed the Col San Giovanni, in the Biolai region, 3 km above Viù you come across an excellently asphalted side road on the right of those arriving from the Val di Susa , which leads to an isolated valley through a descent of about 5 km up to Richiaglio... where time seems to have stopped.

The village of Richiaglio located at 736 meters above sea level sea level, in fact it is made up of a handful of rustic houses with shaved roofs, some leaning against each other and some more isolated. Yet the village is not uninhabited, 27 souls resident in the winter season, including elderly people, families and children, still live from sheep farming as they did 100 years ago.
The stone houses remain as a reminder of a distant past as evidence of a cult that is not dead, but is only linked more to the few souls who stubbornly decided to still live here as evidence of a village not entirely forgotten.
