Veruno was an Italian town of 1,901 inhabitants in the province of Novara in Piedmont. From 1 January 2019 it merged with the municipality of Gattico to give life to the new municipality of Gattico-Veruno. The municipal territory rises in the hilly area of the middle Novara area, at an altitude between 272 and 407 m asl, between the valleys of Ticino to the east and Agogna to the west. Substantially devoid of significant watercourses, the territory is mostly covered by broad-leaved woods (in the north and south in particular) and by meadow cultivations, arable land and vines.
