It is a small medieval village very close to the Sterpi village, on the opposite bank of the Rio Bono which divides the Municipality of Grizzana from that of Camugnano. According to sources, this Rio divided the exarchate of Ravenna from the Lombard March and for this reason the well-preserved remains of numerous towers can be found along this Rio, which later became Fortified Houses. The history of this ancient building, still preserved in its precious architectural elements, is fascinating , carefully preserved by the property which has been able to carry out restoration work over the decades keeping intact the evocative beauty of the ancient tower-house which later became a fortified house. a few km by car from many historical-cultural but also food and wine itineraries to know.
The main structure consists of 5 levels with independent accesses to the first 3 floors and all connected internally: the basement houses ancient cellars, above the stable, the tavern and more and then on the first floor the main entrance which welcomes you almost transporting you to the past.
Ancient portals, beams and many other elements let you breathe history.
The large living room acts as an antechamber to the kitchen and to the bedroom on the floor.
Going up you discover other rooms, each one particular in something for a total of 5 others as well as discovering a top floor.
Owned also a second small stone accessory in the courtyard, a second large stone building, the garden and the partly juxtaposed and panoramic land.
This farmhouse has already been able to tell a lot of history but much still needs to be written.
All that remains is to admire it live.
