Immersed in the beauty of the historic center of Martina Franca, in a quiet position, near the Augustinian convent, a stone's throw from the main squares of the town, in the heart of the Itria Valley.
The building, as the decoration on the first floor tells us, dates back to 1799, overlooks Piazzetta Don Bosco, and is very airy.
It is located on two levels, for a total of m2. 85 approx., plus the terrace above of approx. 30 approx. The entrance to the building, through the decorated door, highlights the typical nature of the building, subject to the restrictions of the Superintendency of Archaeological Heritage. Going up a stone staircase we reach the first floor: a large room characterized by a succession of cross vaults, made bright by the balcony and window overlooking Piazzetta Don Bosco; a small bedroom.
The second floor, also overlooking Piazzetta Don Bosco, is dominated by a large fireplace. The last stretch of the staircase takes us to the terrace which has a very pleasant view that sweeps over the roofs of Martina Franca. The building has an undeniable historical flavour, which shines through in many details: the original chianche, the wooden floors, the stone inserts exposed, the wrought iron railings, the large fireplace.
The building represents a "gem" for lovers of period properties
We are in a privileged geographical position, in the center of the Itria Valley, therefore close to all the most beautiful destinations in the area, such as Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni, just 30 minutes from the splendid beaches of the Coastal Dune Park and one hour from the Ionian coast and its crystal clear sea.--9bdc30ba468997e757997e1c6a19a05f!
