Rustic property with 10,000 m2 of surrounding land.
the house with its land is located within the Valcasotto estate.
Tenuta ValCasotto would not need descriptions, which is rather difficult given the complexity and beauty of the area and the variety of vegetation, economic activities and buildings that it includes.
It was owned by the Savoys together with the Reggia Valcasotto, a UNESCO heritage site
The cottage is part of the estate where there are other cottages, and there is the possibility of buying some, furthermore the entire property is made up of a lot of land so there is also the possibility of buying additional square meters of land.
The estate is located in the upper part of the homonymous Valle Casotto which takes its name from the Casotto torrent. The Casotto torrent and the provincial road which from the valley floor reaches the Colla di Casotto (Municipality of Garessio) divide the estate into two parts, which therefore extends on the hydrographic right and left. The minimum altitude is about 940 m above sea level, which is reached near the town of Valcasotto (fraction of the Municipality of Pamparato), while the maximum altitude is reached on top of Mount Antoroto, the first alpine peak of the Ligurian Alps of a certain importance with 2144 m asl –
The Estate initially owned by the House of Savoy has undergone changes of ownership in the last century with sales of surfaces, until it was purchased in the 2000s by the current owner
It was an integral part of the Reggia di ValCasatto, currently owned by the Piedmont Region and open to the public for visits
We propose one or more rustic buildings of ancient construction, almost entirely in stone, with a rectangular plan, good layout and exposure.
It consisted of a portion for residential use and a portion as a stable and barn in line with the architectural forms of the place. The conditions of maintenance and conservation are very bad; part of the barn and sheds have collapsed and the housing portion is completely unusable and unsafe.
There is no plant equipment. The building is accessible from a dirt road in good conditions of practicability in the absence of snow. The complex has been treated in the land registry as a "collabente building".
