The village of Pitigliano is a precious treasure chest that houses historic palaces and buildings, the majestic Palazzo Orsini, the ancient residence of the Orsini family, the Medici Aqueduct, an elegant structure for water supply, the Jewish Ghetto, the ancient neighborhood built by the Jewish community that lived in Pitigliano starting from the end of the 16th century, here are the Synagogue, the Forno delle Azzime, the Kosher Butcher's shop, the Cellar and the Ritual Bath.
