Country house via Bonavera 1, Centro, Diano San Pietro

WHERE: in Diano San Pietro, in the Colla area, which is located about 5 kilometers from the sea and 3 from the town of San Pietro where there are some shops (food, bars, pharmacy) and the post office. The area is on the route for the many walks that go towards Pizzo d'Evigno, but not only. A perfect location for lovers of outdoor sports such as mountain biking or trekking. On the other hand, as often happens in our area, it is not an area served by buses, therefore not recommended for those without a car. The house is located about 50 meters from the main street within a group of cottages inhabited by both residents and tourists. WHAT: a rustic style house, independent on three sides and arranged on two floors. Access is pedestrian and as I said it is about 50 meters from the main street, a slight descent. It is on two floors, on the ground floor there is the entrance, then the spacious living room with a fireplace. I say spacious because they put a large corner sofa there. In the living room there is also a wall with exposed stone, in addition to the three windows from which you can see Diano Castello and the hill. The dining room is a room in itself, near the stairs to the upper floor. After the dining room, the kitchen (furnished and renovated). Then the bathroom, also renovated. In these three rooms there are small windows. Also on the ground floor there is a storage room (with the washing machine) and a piece of cavity that serves as a cellar. On the first floor, there are two very bright bedrooms, one to the right and one to the left of the staircase, the one on the left has access to the panoramic terrace, from which you can see the whole hill up to the sea. STATE OF MAINTENANCE: good, the house was renovated about ten years ago. Only the heating system should (in my opinion) be modified, currently it works with cylinders, because the current (German) owners never came in the winter, but it is unthinkable to heat the house with cylinders, the current one should be replaced boiler with a hydro pellet, we are installing many of them ourselves, they are economical and heat a lot, plus there is no lack of space for pellets here. NEGATIVE SIDES: I can anticipate what you will tell me: you cannot reach the house by car. POSITIVE SIDES: the area is particularly beautiful, full of sun, and inhabited by stone houses covered with colorful bougainvillea. The cottage does not need work (apart from the boiler), and costs the same as a nasty two-room apartment in the centre. A perfect home for those who cycle or walk.--69e29d5afd788e6a2fad40f627c2d7ea!
