ROBILANT
Robilante (Robilant in Piedmontese and Occitan) is an Italian municipality of 2,120 inhabitants[1] in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont.
Did you know that it is only about 13 km from Cuneo?
The History of the Country
The small town is characterized by a church dedicated to San Donato and the imposing stone bell tower overlooking the main square. From the same square you can admire the chapel of Sant'Anna which stands on a hill. Robilante has numerous alpine chapels and among these, we remember that of the Madonnina del Laghetto in the Piagge area at an altitude of 1343 m. A short distance from the chapel there is a Giant Bench (number 36) from which you can appreciate the view of all of Robilante and on clear days also of Cuneo and the surrounding plain. There are numerous paths to visit the chapels and enjoy the nature of the surrounding mountains: the paths are signposted in the main square of the town.
Arriving from the north you notice the imposing Buzzi Unicem cement factory, inaugurated in the 1960s; while to the south of the town, almost on the border with Vernante, there is a Sibelco factory. Industrial production has characterized the area for more than a century: on the main road that leads to Vernante, on the left you can see the factory building for tannin extraction with an adjacent chimney, continuing along the same road you come across a Venchi resale, a former production site of society.
In Robilante people often speak in dialect, it is possible to get an idea of the language on the Chambra d'Oc website and enjoy the history of one of the Robilante localities, the Cascina.
It's good to know the culture of the place where you buy the house of your dreams...
The building that I will now introduce you to is just a few kilometers away. from the town center and easy to access especially in winter and has a nice plot of land for your children or dog to run around...
