Apartment Campo Sant'Anzolo, San Marco, Venice

Campo Sant'Anzolo is the perfect place for those looking for the right balance between tranquility, centrality and panoramic views. It is in fact in an excellent position to visit the city away from the tourist flow. In a street that opens onto a canal we find the entrance door to our apartment. We walk down the stairs, historic and in excellent condition. As with many Venetian buildings, the property does not allow the installation of a lift or a goods lift, having been built in ancient times. We arrive at the fourth and top floor: the environment communicates a peace full of Venetian details, such as the historic exposed beams, highlighted by the natural light that floods the apartment. Immediately on the right is a first bedroom, discreet in size but perfect for every guest. We return to the entrance and walk along the small corridor. A second door on the right leads us to the bathroom with washing machine and complete bathroom fixtures. As soon as we pass the entrance corridor we find the lounge-dining room with armchairs and sofa, an excellent starting point for interesting conversations. The closer you get to the windows, the more the apartment reveals a permanent guest: the bell tower of San Marco, right in the center of the window. To the right of the dining table perfect for six people, a compartment leads us to the kitchen complete with appliances and exposed beams. From the living room we take the only door on the left and we are in the master bedroom with wardrobes, custom-made furniture and en suite bathroom. The buzz of the gondoliers' songs arrives softly, there is an open French window. We return to the guest room and walk up the wooden steps... the roof terrace gives us such an open view of the Basilica of San Marco that we believe we can touch the bell tower with a finger. San Marco is the heart of the city of Venice, the best known and most prestigious district, from every point you are within walking distance of both Piazza San Marco and the Teatro della Fenice. This area is also very well served by all the Vaporetto lines, and by the gondola ferry, it is also possible to reach any corner of Venice in less than ten minutes.

The apartment is located a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco, Campo San Luca and the very famous La Fenice theatre.
