Alongside it are Palazzo Florio, the churches, the Norman castles of Santa Caterina and San Giacomo, as well as the famous archaeological area of San Nicola. Then, the tuff quarries are real works of art, the most spectacular of which are found in the areas of Scalo Cavallo, Cala Rossa and Bue Marino.
