The house has been the subject of a conservative recovery, without distorting its characteristics and history.

The main façade is simple but at the same time uniquely charming, has two doors on the ground floor and two doors on the first floor with the typical balcony and hand-forged cast iron railing.
On the ground floor there is a living room with a typical fireplace where you will feel pampered and welcomed in the winter months.
The eat-in living room, with a beautiful fine wood table, is the nerve center of the living area.
The kitchenette is beautiful, equipped with all the latest generation appliances. The kitchen is entirely made of wood whose doors have been deliberately covered in papier-mâché in order to give the impression of lime painting. On the sides there are the two modules that house a pantry and the refrigerator, enclosed by galvanized sheet metal paneling and copper decoration and joined together by an old larch beam from an ancient Tuscan farmhouse. The two rooms on the ground floor are characterized by barrel vaults while the floors are in cocciopesto, a floor made with crushed bricks or tiles (one of the oldest and most widespread floors throughout the Mediterranean area). The bathroom is very practical and functional, equipped with a shower and bathroom furniture.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms are surrounded by suggestive Salento vaults, the first with a vaulted ceiling while the second with a corner vault.
The first room it is adorned with walls decorated with boiserie skilfully recovered and integrated into the parts deteriorated by time.
The master bedroom is equipped with an en suite bathroom, also complete with all sanitary fixtures and shower.

On the outside of this level, there is a small terrace of exclusive property where there are two armchairs and a table and a second larger terrace shared with another property; a space from which it is possible to admire the view of the town center with the characteristic Salento roofs, an oasis of tranquility. The first floor can also be reached from a second access from a common courtyard, located at number 66 of Via Marsini.
This house is an authentic treasure chest of local traditions, furnished with refinement, a timeless experience that embraces history and character of Salento.
