TORRE PALI is a small tourist resort located about a kilometer from Pescoluse. The town overlooks the beach that bends slightly to the south, forming a small gulf on which it dominates a crumbling watchtower. Beyond the marina, less than 60 meters from the shore, there is the small Island of the Maiden. According to a legend, in 1753, the Turks landed at Torre Pali, raiding everything, and taking with them a young girl from the place who opposed with body and soul to his captors and, for this, was killed on that strip of land emerging from the sea.
PESCOLUSE is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Salento. Indeed, for several years it has been awarded the BLUE Flag, as one of the cleanest seaside resorts in Italy, thanks to its clear and crystalline waters, and its golden sandy beaches. Pescoluse received also the GREEN FLAG that awards it as a beach suitable for families with children. In fact,  the beaches have shallow and warm waters in summer, so children can swim and have fun in complete safety.
