The Palace was built in the 19th century, as the residence of a Sicilian noble family. It was the subject of a fine renovation in the early 2000s by the current owner who, preserving its historical value, introduced systems and fixtures. The palace is located in one of the main streets of the historic center of Piazza Armerina, a city in the heart of Sicily, home to the Villa Romana del Casale (UNESCO Heritage). The load-bearing masonry structure consists of four floors above ground: the ground floor houses a large atrium with a majestic stone arch from which rises the large marble staircase and wrought iron parapet which, dominated by a large skylight with decorated glass, leads to the first floor; the ground floor also houses spacious commercial premises, part of which has stone walls and overlooks a small private courtyard, through an imposing wooden door. The first floor consists of three rooms embellished with ceilings decorated in plaster and stucco, a large entrance and large hallway interspersed with wooden doors and a large room with a ceiling entirely frescoed with valuable decorations, which overlooks the street of the historic centre. The second floor is characterized by rooms with attached toilets, including one, the largest, which enjoys a privileged view of the Basilica of Maria Santissima delle Vittorie, the majestic cathedral of Piazza Armerina in Baroque and Gothic style. The top floor of the building houses a small terrace which offers a view of a large part of the historic centre. The entire stately residence is enriched by floors with the characteristic Sicilian "cementine" and terracotta tiles, decorated and in excellent condition; almost all the rooms overlook small balconies (of which six are on the street of the historic centre) with wrought iron parapets.
