The structure was born with a green vocation, designed with low-emission glass, which offers a high degree of insulation. However, respect for the original structure goes well with the use of advanced technologies aimed at energy saving. Hence the use of battery photovoltaic systems, the use of solar panels for hot water, the use of a mini wind farm. These measures allow, especially in the hottest periods of the year, almost total autonomy from an energy point of view.
The intervention obviously also took into account the recovery of rainwater, which is channeled into a cistern used for sanitary appliances and irrigation.
The recovery of the Masseria followed very specific principles that in some way enhanced the peculiarities of the territory, both from an environmental point of view and from a point of view of artisanal skills. The primary objective was to enhance the characteristics of the surrounding environment and make the best experience of the place even before that of the structure.
These requirements are accompanied by the spectacle of the surrounding countryside, which, devoid of any element of light pollution, allows the contemplation of a unique sunset and a roof of stars of incredible beauty.
