For our day to discover a "minor" Venice, the one not yet invaded by mass tourism and therefore more authentic, we choose to start from one of the most fascinating views that one can encounter when arriving from the mainland to the historic center: a crossroads of placid canals lined with their foundations, with the typical boats moored to the bricole, the stone bridges crossing them and the beautiful buildings overlooking them, which represents a perfect first souvenir postcard shot. In this quiet city setting, our apartment is located on the foundation that marks the transition from the Dorsoduro district to that of Santa Croce, on the second and last floor of a building built at the beginning of the 20th century by Julius Grunwald, one of the founders of the iconic Hotel Bauer in S. Marco. Our apartment has an excellent internal layout with a hallway onto which the large living room and main bedroom open onto the canal below, the separate kitchen, the windowed bathroom with bathtub, as well as a large room that can be used as second bedroom or further living area, wardrobe room and small closet. On the ground floor we find a comfortable warehouse for exclusive use.
