Madonna di Campiglio is a tourist resort nestled in a valley between the Brenta Dolomites Group and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers, at an altitude of 1550 metres. Today it is certainly one of the most important ski destinations in the entire Alpine region. Thanks to the connection with the slopes of Pinzolo, Folgarida and Marilleva, the ski area boasts 150 km of slopes for alpine skiing and 50,000 m2 of snow park; accessible starting from the town center and returning without the need to remove your skis. In the summer season it is possible to carry out numerous excursions of all difficulties, thanks to the 450 km of paths immersed in the Adamello Brenta Park, which can be covered on foot or by mountain bike; trips organized by the Alpine Guides, mountaineering activities or sport fishing in the river or in the lake in the centre. However, there is no shortage of indoor activities, the new gym in the Palù area has five-a-side football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and handball fields and it is possible to practice climbing on an artificial gym and bouldering.
