The Mortirolo Pass is an Alpine pass at 1,852 m above sea level that connects Valtellina with Val Camonica, connecting the province of Sondrio with that of Brescia. Considered for years only a secondary road, the Mortirolo Pass has risen to prominence in 1990, when it was included in the Giro d'Italia route. Only 4 years later, the solo escape of a young emerging cyclist, called Marco Pantani, made it famous throughout the world and a popular destination for all lovers of "two wheels". Today the Mortirolo Pass is a real "pilgrimage" destination for cyclists and cycle amateurs, thanks to its constant and very steep slopes. After leaving the town of Grosio in the Vernuga area, the road begins to climb through larch and birch woods with very suggestive panoramic views of the Alta Valtellina. After traveling just over 4 km we leave the provincial road to reach, via an asphalted road that can be traveled all year round, the town of Rosu at 1100 meters above sea level. In this wonderful location with an incomparable view of the Grosina valley and the entire valley floor, CACase offers for sale a typical rustic stone house (stacked A/11), arranged on two levels, free on all four sides and composed of a single room of approximately 30m2 per floor. Adjacent to the cabin we have another small building registered as a storage room where the bathroom can be created. Inside the land owned by approximately 6000m2 we find another small building, the typical canevel, which can be used as a cellar.
The water and electricity utilities are directly on site.
