Location
This beautiful independent ground sky is located within the walls of a beautiful village located between the cities of Spoleto and Terni. Among the mountains, about 600 meters high, today a hamlet of Ferentillo: at the time, it was a fortress, a balwark to defend the abbey of San Pietro in Valle. The village is completely renovated and intact in its medieval urbanization. You can easily recognize the walls and the defense towers, the front door to the fortification and the other typicalities of this type of defensive bulwarks. And it is also said that it was a fortress of the Templars and that there is still, somewhere, a hidden treasure and abandoned from these. But beyond the legends, the village is magnificent: in an elevated position and with a breathtaking and unique view. It is inhabited all year round by several families and is easily accessible thanks to the state road and the proximity to Ferentillo, a town rich in history and attractions.
