Country house Località Oliva, Pallare

We are in Biestro, a hamlet of the municipality of Pallare, in the Savona hinterland, a few kilometers from the coast of the Riviera.
The property extends for over 102,000 square metres, composed of oak and chestnut woods, meadows and pastures and once cultivated land.
Placed in the center of the land, with perfect exposure, stands the ruins of the farmhouse.
Probably built in medieval times, the farmhouse was originally a monastery. The base, on which the rest of the construction rests, is entirely built with brick barrel vaults, and a column with a capital carved in stone is still visible. On the terminal part, we find a sort of semicircular apse where water flows.
Outside you pass under a portico where on the right we find what was the monastery chapel.
From these details, the use of bricks for the windowed parts, the chisel-cut stones make us understand that we are not faced with the remains of a building of humble origins.
On the upper and rear part, there is the collection of the springs, the wall is visible on the side where the well is located.
Given the excellent position, raised above the valley floor, and the aforementioned sun exposure, until sixty years ago wine production was the flower of the 'Olive eyelet.--3f75dab56afe71939202ea45afa6c8b6!
