Country house via Sasso, Valtopina

Partially stone-built house in the historic village of Sasso, immersed in the green Umbrian hills at a short distance from Valtopina and Nocera Umbra. The house, on two levels, has been recently renovated and consists on the ground floor of a living room, a dining room and a kitchen; on the first floor, reached by an internal staircase, of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The corridor on the first floor leads to a 30 sqm terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The internal flooring is in terracotta tiles, the internal walls are plastered. The fixtures are wooden. LPG gas heating system.
The house is suitable both as a main residence and as a private holiday home or to rent out.
In summer and autumn various events are organized in Valtopina, 5 km away by car, for example the Truffle Fair, and in Nocera Umbra, 10 km (Palio dei quartieri, Festival of the Lombards, Legume Fair, Christmas presepe of the waterfalls, etc). Foligno 20 km, Assisi 30 km and Perugia 55 km. Perugia airport 40 km, Rome airport 170 km.

Valtopina lies along the Topino river valley, between Foligno and Nocera Umbra. The village has ancient origins and it seems that it was formerly known by the name of 'Cerqua'. The territory is in fact rich in forests and environmental beauties, which allow for wonderful excursions in the heart of unspoilt nature. Valtopina is also known for its gastronomy, from undergrowth products such as mushrooms, asparagus and blueberries, to the famous Valtopina truffle.
