Castel di Guido, we offer a historic farmhouse, called "il Casale della Bottaccia" dating back to the 16th century, located in the suggestive Roman countryside.
The farmhouse stands on an ancient Roman post station called Lorium, historical traces tell us about the stay of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius; of generous dimensions, it was built with techniques of the past and still retains traces of its history. In the 17th century the farmhouse became the property of the Doria Pamphili family who built a small chapel dedicated to S. Antonio Abate. In the 18th century, following excavations, some statues were found and brought to the Clementine Museum in the Vatican by order of Pope Pius VI. The adjoining land, measuring 3,600 m2, offers a large green area in which to enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. It is necessary to point out that the property in its current state requires a complete restoration intervention necessary to exploit its potential and maximize its commercial use for an investment for the future.
