The “Villa fatti di Gramugnana” complex is an ancient village located in the immediate vicinity of Lari, in the heart of green Tuscany.
The architectural aggregate, whose origins date back to the 12th century, was built by the ecclesiastical nobility of that distant past. Many building stratifications have occurred over the centuries and only around the end of the 1700s, by the Scotto family, was the definitive transformation into a "farm" achieved.
Until the second half of the last century, inside the farm, there was still an oil mill for pressing olives and a suggestive cellar dug into the tuff for the conservation and maturation of the wines.
In the early 2000s, the current owner, purchased the entire building complex with the idea of recovering the villa and all the real estate while preserving the original architectural lines and transforming the entire structure into prestigious residences. Entering the structure you immediately notice the skilful recovery of the qualities architectural features typical of Tuscan municipal villages and the maintenance of the elegant and refined lines of the time.
