In the historic center of Badia Polesine, the majestic and imposing Piano Nobile of Palazzo Rossi overlooks two streets, between Va Carducci and Via Degli Estensi, and its façade dominates the road that leads from Piazza dell'Abbazia della Vangadizza to the municipal square. Dating back to the 18th century, it is characterized by a balanced facade with a three-light window with balcony in the centre, and is one of the most important examples of neoclassicism in the Province of Rovigo. Other features are the monumental soft stone staircase in pure eighteenth-century style and the rooms decorated with refined stuccoes from the same period, which completely cover the ceilings and walls; the imposing, elegant and very rare fireplace in red Verona marble present in a room adjacent to the central hall.
In addition to the rococo style stuccos, paintings by the Venetian painter Giovanni Biasin have emerged during the latest restoration.
