At the end of the 19th century the city of Noto was the cradle of the flourishing of the Liberty style, artisan sculptors called stonemasons gave their best to decorate the façades of the houses with floral stone sculptures, enriching them with beauty and particularity.
One of these homes is now offered for sale to a more demanding interested public.
Located in the upper area of the city, a few steps from the church of S.S. Crucifix, the house is spread over two floors of approximately 80 m2. each for a total of approximately 160 m2. it has a main façade adorned with carved stone details and a secondary façade with another entrance hidden inside suggestive alleys of particular beauty.
Over time the house has undergone internal changes which have led it to have a living area with kitchen on the ground floor as well as a bedroom with internal bathroom.
On the first floor two other large bedrooms served by internal bathrooms occupy the available space.
A pitch stone staircase connects the two floors and allows access to a terrace where the view can range from the countryside to the surrounding domes and roofs.
A trap door hidden in the stairwell allows you to admire the ancient technique of the vaults with wooden ribs, woven reeds and plaster.
The house lends itself to being lived in as a residence or used as an income for tourist accommodation, an ancient artefact updated to our needs but with the memory of a time gone by.
