AMALFI CENTRO - Faenzere were called the ceramic factories of Vietri at least since the 18th century, confirming the fact that for centuries there were various ceramists active in various locations on the coast. There is no survival of the oldest faenzeres, while of those from the 19th century it is possible to at least identify the place where they stood. The urban area of Amalfi, where the oven of the cretarius Andrea da Eboli was located, was called Resina and the block of buildings that developed around it was inhabited in particular by people, mostly from Ravello, who called themselves magistri. Even today the site is known as "La Faenza", and includes a residential complex made up of several residential units that once made up the factory built astride the Canneto river.
The property we offer for sale is included in this building, and forms part of the renowned "Arco della Faenza", in a very central position with convenient access from the main street.
