COLLEPARDO - The village of Collepardo rises 586 m above sea level, on a relief of the Ernici Mountains in an area affected by an important karst activity, which is evident in the deep gorges of the Cosa stream, in the Collepardo Caves also known as the Regina Margherita or Bambocci caves, for the numerous stalactites that recall the appearance of dolls and puppets and in the large chasm called Pozzo d'Antullo.
The village has a typically medieval appearance: houses, alleys and squares are grouped around the Town Hall and the Parish Church (XV century).
All around is a panoramic ring road, with remains of the ancient city walls, in which three gates open and six towers detach.
Above the sources of the river Cosa was erected in the twelfth century, by the powerful Colonna family, the Castle of Trisulti, site where the homonymous Certosa is today. The Certosa is a monastery that has been a national monument since 1873. It was managed by the Carthusians of San Brunone (or San Bruno), replaced in 1947 by the Cistercians; it contains still visible examples of Gothic arches that were covered when Gothic was banned by the Catholic Church. The Certosa is surrounded by oak woods and overlooks the so-called Selva d'Ecio, where the river Cosa begins, at the foot of Mount Rotonaria (Ernici Mountains), at 825 m above sea level and 6 km north-east of the town.
In the center of the characteristic village, along the ring road, there is for sale a detached house on 3 levels in excellent condition with double entrance, private terrace and large panoramic balcony.
The property consists of: a large kitchen with fireplace on the ground floor, large living room and bathroom with shower on the first floor, upstairs there is a private terrace and a very spacious bedroom that can be divided into two parts to create an additional bedroom; finally we find the balcony that overlooks the ring road and the countryside of the area.
