Farmhouse via Leuca Piccola 44, Barbarano Del Capo, Morciano di Leuca

POSITION

Barbarano del Capo, a hamlet of the municipality of Morciano di Leuca, was founded in the Middle Ages in a position that offered natural protection from the raids of the "barbarians". This village preserves treasures that have made it famous such as its sixteenth-century tower, the Church of San Lorenzo built in 1537, the vore, enormous natural sinkholes and finally the complex of Santa Maria del Belvedere also known as Leuca Piccola. The structure was built between the 17th and 18th centuries with the function of a resting and refreshment place along the "Via dei Pellegrini" which led to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Leuca.

DESCRIPTION

Just adjacent to this piece of history of our land we find a farmhouse built in 1693, as evidenced by a capital on the ceiling. The farmhouse covers an area of 79 m2 divided into three rooms and has a 35 m2 courtyard.
