In the evocative setting of the Crete Senesi, near Trequanda, this magnificent estate is located in an excellent position and enjoys a splendid panorama of the Sienese hills and the Val d'Orcia. The architectural and environmental characteristics of the property and the short distance from the centers of Montalcino, Pienza and Siena are a perfect combination of tradition and modern comfort. The main farmhouse is characterized by a splendid and unique loggia with a double order of arches and is spread over two levels for a total area of approximately 500 m2 with exposed stone walls, terracotta bricks and chestnut beams. The estate produces Sangiovese with calcareous clay soil and Guyot and Cordone type planting with a vineyard extension of approximately 3.8 ha, density of vines per ha: 6,000, average age of the vineyard of 5 years in 2018 for an average production per ha: 18 hl. Vinification and refinement: Spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins for 35 days in oak vats with frequent pumping over. Aging in large barrels for 28 months followed by a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. Bottles produced: 12,000.
