We are located a stone's throw from Campo San Francesco della Vigna, which takes its name from the historic vineyards that once stood here. Near these vineyards there stood a modest church dedicated to San Marco, replaced by the current Franciscan church, begun by Jacopo Sansovino in 1534 and whose grandiose façade was entrusted to Andrea Palladio. It is one of the major architectures of the Venetian Renaissance. A few steps from the Campo we cross a large courtyard and reach the door of our apartment: from the entrance the living area opens up, overlooking the courtyard on one side and an internal courtyard on the other. The equipped kitchen develops into a welcoming lounge area, in front of which we find the bedroom and the complete bathroom with shower. The property, recently renovated and equipped with air conditioning, tanked and equipped with septic tanks, is a very charming pied-à-terre in an area with an authentic Venetian flavour, as well as an excellent investment.
The Castello district, the largest and among the oldest in Venice, it is located at the eastern end of the city. One of the most populous neighborhoods of the city has always kept the traditional "Venetian lifestyle" intact. Among the numerous monuments and works of art we cannot fail to mention the Arsenal, for centuries the cradle of the power of the Serenissima, the Basilica of SS Giovanni e Paolo, one of the most loved by the Venetians, of S. Francesco in Vigna, of S. Maria Formosa.
