San Giovanni Bianco is an Italian municipality of 4,653 inhabitants[2] in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy.
Located in Val Brembana, it is approximately 28 kilometers north of the Orobic capital.
Since 2015 the municipality of San Giovanni Bianco is part of the "Mercatorum e Priula" cultural center[6], born from an agreement signed with the Bremba municipalities of Camerata Cornello and Dossena to enhance the artistic, architectural, historical and environmental assets of the territory.
The town was served from the San Giovanni Bianco station, equipped with a goods yard used for shipping the marble blocks quarried in Orbrembo and a junction and also connected with the Cima paper mills; the plant was located along the Valle Brembana railway, active between 1906 and 1966[13].--56c8f7a55604dffde70c1a08f837dcd5!
