It has the only navigable river in Sardinia and the surrounding coasts offer small beaches, some of sand and others of rock, which can be easily reached by land but also by sea. For divers it is a paradise with respectable seabed.

The Temo River, which crosses the town and is the only navigable river in Sardinia, therefore allows you to easily reach the nearby beach of Bosa Marina by boat. In the characteristic town center there are all the services (supermarkets, restaurants, shops and even the hospital) and characteristic shops with 0 km seasonal fruit and vegetables with authentic flavors and aromas. The area offers the possibility of practicing many organized sporting activities. The beach of Bosa Marina is very large, with fine sand, and is partly equipped and partly free. The coast, moving a few kilometres, offers many beautiful beaches and coves with seabeds that deserve to be discovered.
Due to its location in the central west of Sardinia it can be an excellent starting base for day trips to the nearby Oristano coast with white and pebble beaches, or to reach all parts of Sardinia itself in reasonable times.
