The exterior was covered in granular concrete, a solution no longer in vogue but which had the advantage of preserving the original materials. Furthermore, it is easy to remove, in order to restore the underlying stone to its ancient splendor, also allowing the masonry to "breathe" as best as possible.

Set in the south wall, we also find an oven with a hemispherical vault, ideal for cooking of the typical cakes, pizzas, etc.

The surrounding land, of approximately 5,000 m2, is arranged on two main steps and is completely fenced. There is a well and around 80 fruit trees, local tree species and centuries-old olive trees. During the renovation, a new and more robust stone wall was built to contain the eastern area.
