Ancient Strombola house located halfway up the hill and arranged on two levels, it develops into three large rooms that are connected to each other through roofs, stairs and terraces. We wanted to keep it as similar as possible to its original structure, traditional of the Aeolian Islands, rethinking the three large rooms as studios that can also be used independently, all equipped with an independent bathroom, kitchenette and terrace overlooking the sea or the volcano.
Originally from the late eighteenth century, the residential unit was lived in by a large extended family, remodeling itself over the centuries based on the needs of the small community. The neighbourhood, located halfway up the hill, was undoubtedly rural, perched on the mountainside and surrounded by nature. Its position, slightly detached from the town centre, allows you to enjoy a spectacular view and the precious privilege of silence. The port and the main street of the Scari district are only a few minutes away, however, along a small road that starts from Via Roma: the path, dirt and exclusively pedestrian, is part of the bed of a stream dug over time by the rainwater that comes down from the slopes of the volcano.
