Single-family detached house via provinciale, San Colombano Certenoli

Ref: San Colombano period villa - Ancient villa of over 600 square meters, independent with excellent exposure. Built in the early 1900s by an important local family, elegant finishes with frescoed and decorated ceilings are the backdrop to the spacious and bright rooms. antique floors made of terracotta and decorated grit Genovese tell the history. At the time of the Second World War the house was occupied by the Italian army, which had organized in those rooms and offices of the Alpine body. The house was built on three levels, all connected internally via the staircase in slate and white marble, double entrance from the ground floor and the first floor with direct access to all levels. Other lounges are present at the same level, a studio with large living terrace and three bedrooms, the main living room is equipped with a wood burning fireplace in slate and ceramic. On the second floor from the stairwell leads to another large lounge Genovese who has direct inputs to four bedrooms, a living room, the bathroom and the kitchen. One of the bedrooms, the most prestigious, has an old toilet with large mirrors. In the bathroom it is still present in good condition the ancient tub, obtained by digging with a chisel a huge block of white marble. The kitchen still has the largest runfò on which meals were cooked gentlemen, the imposing hood that freed the kitchen smells and smoke of burning, double marble sink drainer with the original, the ancient "worksite" wall in which food was stored. On the top floor of the villa there is a second kitchen for the servants, an attic and access to the spacious roof terrace from where you have a wide open view. A few meters from the villa is the woodshed where wood was stored for the winter and the kitchen. On the back of the main house are two other buildings, for a total of 460 square meters, used as a caretaker's cottage.
