The restructuring intervention aims to re-evaluate the existing spaces of the building and expand them by about 20%, harmonizing the appurtenances and the spaces of the garden with a pool of 50sqm of new formation.
The structure of the house is maintained, but in some parts modified to allow the creation of new openings, necessary to stimulate the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. The building is on two floors above ground; the arrival plan consists of an entrance hall, a living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a large kitchen and a second living room that connects the main part of the house with rooms destined to spa or technical destinations. On the ground floor there is also a room / studio with a private bathroom and a service for guests. On the first floor there are three large double bedrooms with bathroom, two of which with walk-in closet. The landing at the floor, allows direct access to the terrace covered with pergolas.
The creation of a glass wall with partly sliding windows in front of the pool, allows you to relate one of the two living rooms of the building with the external arcade space and with the pool itself, in an attempt to generate a space suitable for the use of the house in the summer seasons.
The realization on the first floor of a terrace with hanging green stems from the desire to extend the outdoor spaces of the villa creating multiple scenarios of use of the environments.
