It is located at the beginning of the hamlet of San Bartolomeo di Chiusa Pesio, inside the Alta Valle Pesio Natural Park, and one km from the ski slope bottom of the Marguareis.

At the beginning of the small hamlet of San Bartolomeo di Chiusa Pesio (268 inhabitants), the house is inserted in a hamlet of 6 houses about 150 meters from the main road, easily accessible by car, with parking in the garden, making it therefore very quiet but not isolated. A beautiful chestnut forest for pleasant walks begins just a few meters from the house, while most of the trips, more or less demanding, begin in Pian delle Gorre (about 6 km from the house).
The shops are about 300 m away (a butcher, a grocery with fruit and vegetables, some bars and restaurants), while in Chiusa Pesio (about 7 km) there are all the main shops and services. The closest train stations are in Cuneo (22 km), or in Mondovì (26 km).
Despite the presence of a bus service from Cuneo (savgroup/lineepesio.htm), the use of a car is recommended
It is ideal for lovers of hiking, on foot or on horseback, mountain biking and cross-country skiing (Marguareis cross-country trail, 30 km return (see/159, sports-centre-marguareis), as well as tranquility.
A about 2.5 km from the house is the famous Certosa di Pesio, imposing and evocative. Even if the altitude is not very high (758 m above sea level), the environment is strongly mountainous, being a narrow valley, closed to the south from the imposing Marguareis massif (2,651 m)--8ca5a0a2fa1ec6e1096be261c457c0d3!
