Semi-independent solution originally from the 18th century, it looks like a characteristic house in a row in the historic center of Fano spread over 3 levels and divided into 2 residential units. The whole building was completely renovated at the end of 2014. The works included a total reconstruction of the structural aspect with particular attention to the anti-seismic regulations envisaged for the buildings in the historic center. The house can be considered a new construction with fine details and finishes that have maintained the authentic flavor of the context in which it is located: exposed white beams and terracotta flooring made by hand according to the ancient Tuscan method of the 16th century. It is one of the few buildings in the historic center to be equipped with important energy saving measures: solar thermal panels, biomass thermo fireplace able to fully heat one of the two apartments and wooden window frames with double-chamber glass for insulation acoustic and thermal. The internal facade has been prepared for the possible installation of an elevator and each floor has a balcony. There is an alarm system for video surveillance with an intercom connection between each room. Due to the width of the perimeter walls you can naturally enjoy coolness in the summer, despite this, air conditioning systems have been set up in all rooms of the house. The two autonomous apartments are separated by a staircase and each consist of a living room and kitchen and two bedrooms. The upper apartment has a private bathroom for each of the 3 rooms as it has been designed as a tourist-receptive structure and is working with a good turnover with Italian and foreign customers. Moreover, as a rare feature for the historic center, the house has a luxuriant exclusive courtyard of about 60 square meters paved with terracotta and surrounded by decorative plants and equipped with an external kitchenette. The property also has a methane-heated annex, used as a laundry room, bathroom and a loft furniture currently used as a study.
