I am a palace that rises in the heart of Corsano, a historical reality of southern Salento that offers surprising beauties.
The heart of my country tells very distant stories that come from ancient times and are testified by numerous finds of Roman coins and tombs at the "Peach" area. All the essence of the peoples and traditions that inhabited this splendid land is still found today in the ancient traditions that survive and through artistic beauties such as the ancient village characterized by typical narrow streets and alleys that meet. Some paths start from the village through the countryside and go down to the sea and still remember the times when the inhabitants of the town barefoot, through these roads, went to collect sea salt.
In the heart of the country, impressive architecture stands out among including the church of Santa Sofia which was rebuilt in 1939 on the ruins of the homonymous church dating back to the 16th century; the church of San Biagio which is the current parish church dedicated to the protector of the municipality dating back to 1967; the humble church of Santa Maura which is located in the open countryside on the road from Corsano to Marina di Novaglie. The original building was built around the 11th century and was probably a cave church, on which a larger temple was then erected. Every year, on May 1st, in the church square there is a traditional fair which brings together the inhabitants of Corsano and neighboring countries. In addition to offering a journey through time, the streets of my country also have many services and meeting points that represent the modern soul of the place.
To give prestige to the Municipality, the nearby marina of Novaglie thinks about it, between breathtaking cliffs and large countryside opens onto the blue expanse that is the Adriatic Sea.
In this context, in Piazza San Giuseppe, in a suggestive atmosphere I find myself who is an equally suggestive and fascinating palace. My interiors are developed on the ground floor and first floor and extend for about 300 square meters plus about 70 square meters of garage and courtyard. My aesthetic refers to distant times dominated by the harmony and grace that can still be found in my interior spaces which has 13 rooms.
