Farmhouse Montesardo, Alessano

In Montesardo, a characteristic Salento village, part of the municipality of Alessano (LE)
About 3km from the splendid Novaglie marina, 10km from Santa Maria di Leuca and the renowned Maldives of Salento, famous for its expanse of white sand and water crystal clear. We offer an ancient farmhouse from the 1600s, finely and recently renovated of approximately 110m2, divided into two independent structures: the first consisting of a double bedroom with study, internal bathroom, living room, dining room with open kitchenette. The house recalls the typical Salento style: typical "exposed" barrel vaults and tools of ancient trades; the second structure, however, consists of a single room used as a bedroom with internal bathroom.
A fundamental characteristic of these typical farms is the width of the border walls (about 1.40m) which make the home cool in summer and warm in winter. Furthermore, the renovation work completed in 2012 included fully functional underfloor heating.
