This beautiful house is located in Nesso, in the hamlet of Careno and is the result of a careful and refined renovation in 2019. It was built with the highest quality materials, with a careful study of details and the combination of strong design elements that they blend together, giving a suggestive environment with a strongly modern imprint. The property is spread over three different levels. The entrance, located on the first floor, opens directly onto the living area, characterized by high ceilings with exposed laminated wood beams where there is a living area from which you can admire an enchanting lake view. You immediately notice the care for the choice of materials, such as the use of exposed stone and the internal coat. The entire living area is paved with a very refined period parquet which, thanks to its combination, forms an elegant square pattern. On the same floor there is also a tiled bathroom with light tones, highlighted by the LED lighting. A staircase with glass cantilevered steps leads to the second floor, where there is a kitchen made entirely of steel and a suggestive iron and glass mezzanine. A second glass staircase leads to the ground floor where there is a bedroom with a built-in wardrobe. It has an independent entrance, from which you can access an external area of the property. Also on the same floor we find another bathroom with a large shower and a storage area. Finally, the external part is finished in exposed stone and plaster.
Two parking spaces complete the property.
Nesso is located on the west coast of the Lariano triangle, the territory between the two branches of Lake Como. The inhabited center extends from the shore of the lake climbing in the direction of Pian del Tivano towards the border with the municipality of Zelbio. The territory is crossed by numerous watercourses, the most important being the Nosée torrent and the Tuf torrent which flow together giving rise to a spectacular waterfall inside the Nesso ravine. The ravine of Nesso, in the locality of Coatesa, is a deep natural gorge located at the confluence of the valleys of Tuf and Nosè, in which the rivers of the same name flow. The ravine can be observed from above, from the provincial road "Lariana", or by going down to the lake with a stepped road, consisting of over 270 steps, flanked by houses, and reaching the Civera bridge, a Romanesque bridge that connects the two banks of the watercourse and which is immortalized in some scenes of Alfred Hitchcock's first film: The Labyrinth of Passion. Above the town of Careno is the Masera cave, which houses galleries, waterfalls, ponds, siphons and a room with ammonite footprints.--87cef3614e09177033e020dc27cc1ae1!
